Brides, grooms and their families put great
effort into picking the right kind of wedding cards. In fact, most of the
people think wedding cards do a lot more than just announcing the special
occasion.
What are the choices available?
Money is one big factor determining the type of
card you choose.
A card with or without an envelop can start as
low as Rs. 3.50/-. You can add a little more class and elegance at Rs. 10/- per
card. If you want it to be more colorful, you can spend Rs. 20/- to Rs. 30/-
per card.
In case you want the card to be of many layers,
elaborate art work, and exquisite colors expect to pay Rs. 100/- to Rs. 300/-
per card.
Some wedding planners also order two kinds of
cards. To send the invitation to hundreds of people, they order cards of Rs.
10/- or less in large numbers. They will also order a few (probably less than
30) cards to archive along with the wedding album.
There was also news of a young man buying bulk
of ordinary post cards, writing the invitation in his own handwriting and
sending it out to all his friends. It may take a lot of time, but it is the
most personalized wedding invitation card you can ever expect.
